Snowboarding (New!)

Lucy Harrup

Lucy has been riding Fernie Alpine Resort for 17 Winters and counting. She notches up over 100 days on her pass each season and knows the awesome terrain very well. A huge asset of Lucy’s is she knows where to go based on snow conditions, current weather and time of day, to bring out the best in your riding or to develop those new skills further.

Lucy has worked as a full time snowboard pro at Fernie Alpine Resort since 2007. She has been the top snowboard pro at the resort for two seasons now and is in high demand. Her speciality skills are big mountain riding (steeps, trees, deeps, chutes), carving and all mountain freestyle. Lucy is used to teaching at the highest level, having passed her level 4 teaching and pedagogy modules. However, she also enjoys those beginner lessons and can help any confidence level feel safe and brave on the snow. Her passion is snowboarding and sharing her stoke with anyone that will listen.
